I am an Zoroastrian Indian, a professionally qualified bachelor. I have done my Masters in Commerce, and am a qualified Company Secretary and a qualified Cost Accountant. I feel very sorry for my brethern Zoroastrians in Iran as I am aware that many Indian Zoroasrians industrialists like Tatas, Godrej, Aghas have donated millions of rupees to create upliftment of other communites while ignoring their own people. I also understand the hardships you face in your day to day life. Life is very difficult for a minority in all developing countries. Even the Bombay Parsi Panchayat is a trust in name only where only your money power and influence counts. A new threat in India has emerged by Pari women enmasse marrying outside, who convert at the time of marriage and thru' their influence try to blackmail the community through courts to get funds, properties etc. They try to squeeze maximum benefts for their non Zoroastrians children from Zoroastrians funds etc. They also deliberately create a bad name for the religion. The Zoroastrian community in India is definitely heading towards extinction due to the above.
